2026-04-06 this is a question thats been bothering me quite a bit feel free to put it on the anonymous message responses ive been reading your website quite a lot and its absolutely precious. thank you. <3 this is an issue thats been bothering me. youve mentioned deleting accounts disappearing in general. what can one do if you just cannot delete the account i guess its an issue most people might run into if theyve got years behind them. emails lost ridiculous security verifications for accounts and so on if youre just trying to disappear from people you know digitally. is it truly possible for one to have a completely new identity that itself isnt attached to the past? been bothering me quite a lot over a couple accounts i cannot delete. thx - gl4ce Hey there, I appreciate the message. I have found myself in a similar situation. We end up with so many accounts through the years, sometimes it is hard to delete older ones with no working contact or secondary email. Or we simply forget the passwords, I recommend personally spamming the email to sully the data. Using programs like https://mailbait.info/ https://emergencyemail.org/ https://github.com/khast3x/h8mail https://github.com/martinvigo/email2phonenumber to sully the data contained, Using these it should cap your inbox and spam messages causing storage to be full and begin deleting older emails. These programs can also be used for SMS as well to spam a old phone number with nonsense.

2026-03-22 Hi! I found your website back in like.. ~May of '25 and I really dug it! I created a script to scrape the website and download it as an offline copy, just in case. I did it again, just today, and decided I'd leave a message while I'm at it. I like seeing how the website has changed/evolved, and it's cool to see. Is there no CSS anymore? I recall a dark theme but the CSS is like blank. Maybe it's my browser or something. Keep up the work you do man. -lakey Hey Lakey, I appreciate the support and interest in my site. While I did implement several css designs in the past I could not get over making it 'ideal' to my eyes, so I decided that I should stop trying to make the site look nice and try to make it as functional as possible. So taking the css away and adding additional routes of contact, better time stamps, different types of content such as audio, etc would make the site more enjoyable for a wider audience. I left the css page blank to allow reader to design their own style pages and to not interfere with people using Dark Reader or Stylish. I hate my parents for very general reasons but feel like people have way worse parents. But that still doesn't change the fact that I hate my parents, my father cheated on my mom, they always treat me as an asset or an investment and think that putting resources in me would grant them something from me in the future, and both of my parents are homophobic. They think that I owe them a degree. They hate when I am happy and think that life is meant to be hard. But sometimes I think people have way worse parents, and also it is not normalized to have a bad relationship with your parents in my country. I am not sure if I hate them or if they are just a little bad at parenting. I am truly sorry to hear. But I understand this deeply. While I have always had a good relationship with my parents in a general sense, I have been a massive disappointment to them. I came from a strong military home that, they were very government focused but also preppers. You had to be prepared for anything and if you were not "you will become a sheep". That whole deal. Both of my parents had some deep seeded PTSD from their time in the military and it came on in anger issues and workaholic tendencies that were pushed on our family. When I entered High-school, the deal was when I turned 17 it was Military or College for a degree. I opted for college, crammed enough to get two degrees and then went completely off grid after moving out and living in my car for somewhere between three to four years. I did a full no contact with the only relay between them and I was a phone that never was active frequently to me simply not paying for it. I traveled and bummed around until I met my wife. Before that I learned how to live completely minimalist, had a band, got involved in alcoholism, recovered, got into politics, and met a lot of cool and awful people. After a while I reconnected with my family and we just kinda exist now. While this is not to minimize your feelings, you are valid to think the way you do and I am not saying to forgive them, but sometimes giving them just enough to be satisfied while you save money, find your own way, and learn to live without them is sometimes the best thing. You cannot please everyone and it is not your job to please anyone other than yourself. Doing things for you based on your own hard work is the only thing that should be necessary and anything you give them in return is based solely on their parenting. I do not like my parents, but I do what I can for them, helping my family live well, being part of their lives. But when it comes down to it, I am doing this for me, the moment it stops being beneficial to me, I will just leave again. So plan accordingly, take your time to plan and set milestones for your life. It seems like you are young so you still have time to get things in order. Set your life up for a long term plan. Nothing that is good comes fast or easy, so abide and cater for as long as you can while creating back up plans to go live your life. I appreciate your message and hope to hear from you soon.

2026-03-11 what are your thoughts on atheism like you have mentioned your religion as EatenFirst and i get the idea behind that but that does not feels like a religion to me, could you like explain it more While I have always considered myself, when asked seriously, an Atheist. The EatenFirst comic is a general parody of the Church of Later-day Saints comic of 'Where are you when Jesus returns?' But in most respects due to my day to day interactions with a lot of people, I will usually say I am an Agnostic to respect the idea there their beliefs are valid and that the Divine and the Divine's plan is unknowable so no one can tell. For those elderly or particular religious folks that are kind I will say the previous statement about not subscribing to their flavor of religion because it feels like Gods will to allow me to find my own way into it (To save the trouble and a long conversation about conversion). For those that are not too nice about the religion thing or if I were to believe in the Divine in any serious capacity Satanism would be the way to go and God is kinda a dick in the grand scheme of things with the whole Old Testament and *Present Day Issues* at least Satan has the courtesy of testing wills and seems to be far more active than God. Or for my Muslim brothers and sisters that are cool I will reply "Inshallah", but if they are not too kind... "Inshallah, Beware of Satan, he is desperate to divert you from the worship of Allah, so beware of him in matters of religion.". But all in all as mentioned I do not believe in the divine. I think religion is a great moral code for those who need it, there is enough out there that seems to have solved the complexity of human existence and all its evils but still cannot figure out to actually make it work. The hungry, homeless, and sick are still present in every religious country in the world and it seems like no matter how hard they pray nothing every gets done. God fearing men still kill other God fearing men for money, sex, race, or nationalism. I think it is hypocrisy of the highest order to be a religious man in today's world, and if you fear the return of god and the end of days, or hell and what have you. The best option we have is to just not be alive to see it. But all must abide and I take no personal strife with religious folks. Just be kind about it.

2026-03-07 have you heard of qubes? im curious what you think of it Yes I have, I did give it a brief mention in my Distro List. I use quebes today on a backup laptop for travel. Much of the tools Qubes use I also use on my daily machine like the Xen hypervisor and I fell in love with the project that evolved into Qubes back in 2012 with TorBox. The linage of Qubes and previous projects are interesting to follow and had always had a user-fist security focus. For those interested in secure operating systems but do not want to put the work into hand crafting one, I highly recommend Qubes. But do not cross contaminate containers for Personal, Work, and Anonymous usage. My only gripe (Which in 2026 is not much of an issue) was when Qubes release is was rarely adopted because of the specs needed to run. In late 2012 the specs to run Qubes on a laptop was a decent SSD, i7 processor (though i5 was an option), and about 16GB of RAM, which in a laptop was placing you on the 'Gaming Laptop' market level, average cost about $1000.00. Completely costing out most users as a daily driver, making TailsOS the continued (Since 2010) go-to privacy OS. I feel for both Qubes and Tails, there is a place. Qubes being more focused on daily operation and Tails on the traveling incognito mode. I recommend both as I implement both in my every day usage. Fell free to use Qubes as a 'Home' linux distro for day to day operations.

2026-03-06 What is the meaning of Life for you just curious <3 I personally have always considered myself a nihilist. While I do not subscribe to anything in particular, I think those who have some spiritual, material, or supreme idea of how life works is justified, as long as it makes them happy. I have mingled with and have friends from all walks. Some x-addicts chose religion. Some straight edge folks chose family or money. For me it makes me happy to imagine that there is nothing after death and that the only things that matter happen in the here and now. To be a good person, a well rounded person, and person willing to do for others what I would hope they would do for me. The golden rule. I plan and prepare because I hope others would. I hope people would converse in the line for groceries, or hold the door because I would. But if they don't it doesn't matter. While, this morning I sip my coffee before work, I am a bit groggy for such a deep question. But really I think what gives my life purpose is doing the most good for my time today while not expecting much from others, just the hope they do the same. I apologize is this is not very clear. In Satanism Anton LaVey wrote the 11 tenants for Earth or 'The Eleven Satanic Rules of the Earth' that I think boil down a happy life pretty well. In Buddhism a focus on simplicity and non-attachment, encouraging individuals to find balance in their lives by reducing excess possessions and desires. The idea that true happiness comes from within rather than from material accumulation. I think the idea of a simple, meaningful, life is worth living for. But above all politeness is truly important. When I worked in law enforcement I would always tell inmates or wanted individuals when they said (Pardon the quote but some may understand) "Hey man, you a good one. You ain't like a normal cop" because I would listen but explain what I was doing, why, and set clear boundaries for the interaction. Whether is would be putting someone in cuffs, or having to raise my voice to 'get them to the ground' as it were. But I would always respond with "I am not nice, I am polite" and "I don't disagree with you, but I cannot allow you to not allow me to do my job". After several years I got tired and had to quit for my sanity. But I came out of it with a different resolve to not have life effect me in a negative way and to let others abide so long as they are courteous and polite. To allow others to do good, and to interject myself when I feel that may not be the case.

2026-02-09 Please do share your POV on the new job - the study materials you go through, training, working at terrain, the initial requirements you had to pass. I am enjoying the work so far. It is far more relaxing working in the outdoors and dealing with slight issues over life / death situations that I am use to in my previous job. Mainly it is basic physical labor. Running Coax or Fiber in rural areas on a 35ft latter from pole to home. The material is mainly basic on data loss from signal over 250+ ft of line or issues from Coax / Fiber from line to home. To get the job I just had to pass a drug test and have good interview skills. I really have never worked in this field before outside of a basic understanding on how ISP companies worked and basic home networking skills. They asked if I work well on my own and am able to be 'self-driven'. A lot of the training was on the job and a understanding of your tools, how and when to use them. But I have noticed I am far more calm, I have more time for family, and able to spend more time on my hobbies. Something I did not have the drive or desire to do when I worked in Law Enforcement.

2026-02-08 is it possible for a phones location to still be acquired [no e-sim] if the sim card is removed from it? looking into this and cant find much. That is a great question that can be answered a couple different ways. While a phone without a sim or e-sim cannot be tracked via cellular towers in a traditional sense. There is enough wireless technology within a phone that is constantly screaming out (Wifi, Bluetooth, Radio) and even with these features turned off, without physical removal from the device, they can still remotely be accessed (malicious actors, RATs, Federal backdoors, government intervention). Google has tracking data logged even without Wifi being active using the internal gyroscope (similar actions can be taken from Apples's 'find my phone' features and Samsung having the same capabilities.) Social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and other social media sites that have a 'share location' option can be considered an Op-sec no-no. The IMEI can also be tracked via the phone's home network. While there is no SIM attached to allow calls, local law enforcement can and have used strictly IMEI data to track and monitor phones. Any agency can place a Warrant request to have carrier towers ping a IMEI that may be suspected of being used in a crime and track that IMEI's locaiton. Bluetooth triangulation and WAP triangulation is older technology still used today where other devices (active or not) can be targeted to ping off of (active or inactive) Bluetooth capable devices to track location. To a fault a Smart-phone or Flip-phone in the present day us a walking, talking, tracking device whether mitigation's are in place of not. Between not having one or using relentless secure ROMs, Faraday cages, physical removal of wireless chips, and complete awareness of physical security of the device. It may be easier to not have one.

2026-02-02 Hi Eld, free to put this under http://ify3vf6ofu4gnakhepevj3csbxmy26zeyhdfdjy2n7blkcamwgjlyead.onion/AnonymousMessageResponses.html Ive recently seen some posts talking about the flaws of PGP and using AGE and SSH as a replacement. this search happened because of these resources (IA as onion proxy): https://web.archivep75mbjunhxc6x4j5mwjmomyxb573v42baldlqu56ruil2oiad.onion/web/20260109204546/https://soatok.blog/2026/01/07/practical-collision-attack-against-long-key-ids-in-pgp/ https://web.archivep75mbjunhxc6x4j5mwjmomyxb573v42baldlqu56ruil2oiad.onion/web/20260126041331/https://soatok.blog/2024/11/15/what-to-use-instead-of-pgp/ https://web.archivep75mbjunhxc6x4j5mwjmomyxb573v42baldlqu56ruil2oiad.onion/web/20260126041331/https://www.latacora.com/blog/2019/07/16/the-pgp-problem/ Wondering what your thoughts are about it, good or bad. I appreciate the message and I have took some time to read through the articles mentioned I do have some thoughts, but not to the discredit of the information given. I do believe there are better systems for certain encryption depending on the platform used. However I do think to this day PGP is the best layered privacy option. Much like passwords / passphrases, OTP, and cellular 2FA. These systems have flaws but are needed and implemented in layers. I use PGP alongside other systems like Live-USBs, encrypted drives, and secure-wipe systems for the layers of security it offers. While everything stated in the above articles about PGP and it's flaws of private key exploitation and repository compromises are true. But much like email, there is no better alternative currently that works as well as it does in the ways that it does. Not to give a PGP a pass in that regard but it is what we have and it is better to use it (much like a password) than not at all.
Hi Eld, free to put this under http://ify3vf6ofu4gnakhepevj3csbxmy26zeyhdfdjy2n7blkcamwgjlyead.onion/AnonymousMessageResponses.html Ive recently seen some posts talking about the flaws of PGP and using AGE and SSH as a replacement. this search happened because of these resources (IA as onion proxy): https://web.archivep75mbjunhxc6x4j5mwjmomyxb573v42baldlqu56ruil2oiad.onion/web/20260109204546/https://soatok.blog/2026/01/07/practical-collision-attack-against-long-key-ids-in-pgp/ https://web.archivep75mbjunhxc6x4j5mwjmomyxb573v42baldlqu56ruil2oiad.onion/web/20260126041331/https://soatok.blog/2024/11/15/what-to-use-instead-of-pgp/ https://web.archivep75mbjunhxc6x4j5mwjmomyxb573v42baldlqu56ruil2oiad.onion/web/20260126041331/https://www.latacora.com/blog/2019/07/16/the-pgp-problem/ Wondering what your thoughts are about it, good or bad.

2025-11-07 I'll be leaving high school soon. How realistic is it to get a job in cybersecurity? Otherwise, is it too difficult in today's job market to break into cybersecurity? What would job career would you recommend now otherwise? I'll be going to college (without debt) in the U.S. to follow my parents wishes if that helps. To be honest my time in the field was a negative experience. I went for a 2 year degree while working for Dell in 2014. If you are passionate about the career path I don't want to have my critique of the field to stop you. I went from someone passionate about the work, to working blue-color jobs within a two year span. While growth in the sector is expected to double over the next 5 years, the landscape you will be entering will be vastly different that what you are studying for. It is highly competitive and "burn driven". A term I picked up while working where they take passionate new-bloods into the field to use their lack of experience and driven mindsets to burn through hard fiscal cycles and lay the off the next quarter. It was not fun and was not easy. So I opted to leave and just write about it instead. However I do think my time studying in school was worth while and the experience did allow me to learn what I actually liked about computers. I would recommend pursuing what you are passionate about and doing your best. It was not for me does not mean it is not right for you.

2025-10-17 I sent the last message about you asking to enrich the p50 page. Don’t bother—by now I’ve learned to read properly. Appreciate your work. Would love to hear some "from the field" *redacted* stories. I appreciate the compliments and I am always willing to expand on work if there is a topic anyone would like to see more of. What kind of "From the field" stories are you interested in?

2025-10-15 It would be appreciated if you extended the ThinkPad P50 promo page with additional info on BIOS video display setup and software to maximize the Quadro dGPU's potential. I have tried many times to find a comfortable setup but with no luck. --- When installing proprietary drivers as per the wiki, GDM forces use X11. Video display setup for: Hybrid Graphics While you get access to CUDA it requires many software tweaks, such as: Playing videos often shows tearing artifacts. Terrible UI, font scaling. Bumblebee is no longer actively maintained. Prime-offload is needed to run most software on the dGPU. Dedicated Graphics The same issues persist until: Enabling Forcing the Full Composition Pipeline: Better out-of-the-box UI, font scaling. Makes videos play smoothly. However, switching windows and launching programs becomes laggy. --- Since you favor live boots, do you just use the Wayland version with free Nouveau drivers? Do you use brute-force cracking software on another machine? Touching on CUDA, I do use CUDA but I don't play many games. I think Steam has the best options for Linux gaming outside of pure Linux games. When it comes to Brute-forcing, I do use the P50 but I also have a desktop I use as a backup server that has an "okay" graphics card. Depending on the password I would always recommend using a well curated dictionary and hashcat. I found this gives the fastest response but if you have the time, you can brute-force as well.

2025-09-25 2 things(both regarding thinkpads). 1: Where can you buy a fully furnished p50? Is it just ebay, or are there some specialized sites? 2: Can it run stuff like either heavily modded minecraft or high graphics elden ring and the like? Thanks for your time. Great site. There are a couple sites like Ebay, Amazon, Newegg. The best deals I have found are on Ebay however. While most things I do are not very graphics intensive as far as games go. I have no problems playing heavily modded space sims. I feel like Minecraft would play just fine. Elden Ring however I am not familiar with and would say based on what I have seen would not be great on the P50 since it is not a 'Gaming Laptop' and uses its cores and dedicated graphics card for operational computing. I would recommend a dedicated E-GPU for the P50 if you want to push it past it's over-the-counter ability.

2025-09-14 did neocities block Tor access to their main domain? Yes, It has been an ongoing issue for roughly a year. It is hit or miss and I personally have no issues with logging in, but just accessing the home domain is not possible on a tor connection.

2025-09-07 I trust you're in good health uncle Elda. Greetings from an apple. I am,just very tired from 16 hour shifts and farm work. Things are well and I feel very healthy. Weather is nice here and it makes my spirits high. Hello. I would like to establish a dialogue with you. I believe we could have an intellectually stimulating conversation, as I find similarities between your worldview and my interpretation of things. I sent you a message if you want to talk, I am usually online sporadically throughout the day between working and being outside. I will usually come in and catch up with digital work every few hours.

2025-08-24 Hello, so I am curious more about your complete guide for paranoid user, particularly on "How to Disappear" and "Living Off Grid" does this also work internationally? Or is it just only for US? In theory, yes it can. I feel like most of the general rules and guidelines are fine enough to stand on its own. You can easily apply the mentality to any place and culture. By blending what is there with your own knowledge of the country you live, I feel you can easily translate it over to your own experience.

2025-08-23 considering most of your site is text based and doesn't really do much with HTML and CSS, have you ever thought of setting up a Gopherhole? I have actually, but I found it to be uneeded currently. I personally do not want to host it on my machine and have another mirror I need to maintain while also keeping my other sever projects afloat.

2025-08-21 Yo benchod! What's your primary method of transportation and what's your ideal method of transportation? I found your site through doogie.neocities.org who I in turn found from videos.icum.to who I in turn found from tastyfish.cz/ It's a smol world. My primary has always been a car, truck, or SUV. I usually find some way to modify it and strip down the features to the bare elements for simplicity of repairs. I also tend to take the passenger or back seats out of the vehicle and set up a small platform to act as a bed so I can sleep in the vehicle. My ideal however is walking. I love walking and on most days will walk 10 or more miles. That is also quite the webring, I am only familiar to doogie.neocities and will have to check out the rest. Thoughts on SimpleXchat and GrapheneOS I personally have never used Graphene extensively, however it is robust and had a great history of privacy protection with disk encryption and revoking app privileges to secure a smartphone. While I personally do not own a smartphone for personal use and only have a work phone that I leave in my work locker. I never needed a cell phone once I was able to live on my own. SimpleXChat uses a SMP which is secure but allows some reliance on the user not being compromised in the first place to allow in-device listening, and server choice also matters. But it does allow onion routing which is a huge boon to its anonymous features. I do not like the idea of using a smartphone for messaging securely but I would highly recommend using PGP alongside messages to add an extra layer of security. I am going to spread your site around a bit, I have been enjoying my read so far, and the dates lead me to believe you are still relatively active. Hope to see a response soon. I will say I have been considering a thinkpad for travel purposes, and just using a usb modem w/ burner sim cards Please feel free, I appreciate the kind words and hope you enjoy reading my content. I try to be as active as I can with my day job and maintaining my lifestyle it is difficult to find the time write. The audio files have been helping a bit, since I can talk and write at the same time about something I am interested in. I also would very much recommend doing so, I personally have done that for roughly 8 years when I was first writing this site even. I had it velcro'd to the lid of a T420 Thinkpad and a wifi-pineapple alongside it. It would guarantee I would have network connections pretty much anywhere.

2025-08-08 Interested to know your thoughts on video games. I have actually written a bit about this. So in my teens I was really into League of Legends and made it to Gold / Platinum several times with Mordekaiser. Then he was reworked and I could only make it to Gold with the new kit and his Ghost-Dragon. Then reworked again into his present day iteration with the Shadowrealm -R ability. So I completely stopped playing after that. I also will revisit old Nintendo and Sony Playstation titles via emulation. Currently the two games I play the most and have sunk more hours on than anything else is Endless Sky, a top down 2-D space game and GNU-Go as a board game that I have been interested in getting better at. I might spend maybe 1-2 hours a week playing these games when I have time.

2025-08-07 I really dig the new CSS, but to be honest? the old "no CSS" site looked more based. Also, I love your site and content man. keep it up <3. I agree, I have a hard time settling on a general theme I tend to not use css on pages I read frequently. I will have fits of customizing the site for a theme then eventually get nihilistic, leaving it to the user to add their own if reading the site as-is causes problems. I most likely will revert back to no css in the near future since, I think, conflicts with the purpose of the site and its philosophy as a whole. Since you often discuss Debian and security/hacking tools. I'm curious about your current hardware and OS configuration (assuming you use a ThinkPad as your main machine). How do you manage multiple operating systems (Debian, Kali Linux) - do you: - dual-boot different OSes from separate partitions/drives at startup? - use live-boot Kali Linux at startup when needed? - use a dedicated machine with Kali installed? - configure GPU passthrough to run Kali or Debian in virtual machines using a hypervisor like virt-manager? I usually keep a collection of Live-USBs. My main machine has Debian on it, its the OS I am most familiar though I frequently will use virtual machines for different OS testing and trying out different live environments. I also keep 2 Kali-live USBs and 2 Tails-live USBs. I keep one set of each in a travel bag I take with my car and another set I keep at home. I also keep a backup of my home system on a Live-USB to travel with. I mainly do this for redundancy and a way to maintain backups.

2025-08-03 Hey, just wanted to say that I've been an avid reader of your site since 2020, and still check regularly for any new posts. I've learned a lot from the site and it has definitely influenced the course of my life; I really appreciate the effort you've put into writing and compiling this information over the years. Glad to see you're still adding more to the site—I enjoy the new audio category, too! I really appreciate the compliment. Knowing there are few who enjoy my content really sparks joy in my heart. I hope that everything I give, everything I will continue to give, helps others grow into the people they want to be.
