This is a quick list of the pipes I own, most of my pipes are either Missouri Meerschaum pipes or inspired by their models then hand made by myself. Adding my thoughts on them as I go down the list.
Eaton |
This pipe is cheap and a good smoke. For $5 you can have a good pipe for a 5-10 minute smoke. |
Pony Express |
This pipe this is the same as the Eaton but with a polished exterior, so it cost $2 more. |
Huck Finn |
A decent small bowl with a long plastic stem for a cool smoke. While decent I usually would not recommend this over the Eaton. |
Tom Sawyer |
Same as the Huck Finn but with a small bit, this is an awesome pocket pipe. |
Missouri Pride |
This is a filtered pipe, great recommendation to someone looking to begin smoking a pipe. |
5th Ave Diplomat |
This is my favorite pipe, hefty, feels good in the hand. Awesome smoke time. Filtered to keep moisture down and prevent tar build up. This is easily my go to and I have bought several over my time smoking a pipe. I smoke a straight stem, but if bent stem is more your speed, it will still smoke well. |
Shire 15 Rosewood |
This was a gift from a co-worker, a nice pipe. But I cannot recommend, has a gurgle and hard as hell to clean. |
Generic Brier Pipe |
This was an off the shelf Italian made Brier pipe. I picked it up on sale for about $15 to experiment with a new type of pipe. I personally did not like it, but the smoke was good. |
